• Hacking an outfit of Issey Miyake

• I was drawn to the constrats in the bottom of the dress: the print was so dynamic yet the shape was so stiff

​

•  I wanted to make the shape of the garment more dynamic.

​

• I want to create more movement in the shape of the garment and I choose the theme natural disasters, because for me natural disasters are really powerful and dynamic in movements

​

• With the 4 core elements: water, fire, earth and air in mind, I started to do visual and theoretical research

​

• After that I choose twee elements to continue with in my draperies.

​

• As you can see in my process, I tried a lot of things before I came finally to my end design.
